HL 0501 S S possesses an after-glow feature, which will gradually diminish over a period of approximately 30 seconds following exposure to a suitable excitation source, depending on length of exposure, and distance from exposure device. 

Lower films will result in less after glow, and more rapid dissipation of effect after removal from excitation source.
